I learned a valuable lesson with this fly on a Tennessee tailwater during a midge hatch. That lesson was that they wanted an olive flashy midge pupa. My buddy happened to have just one of these flies and was cathing 5 fish for every 1 fish that I caught. Needless to say my box is now equiped with this little midge. If you are a Tennessee fly fisherman I wouldn't be caught without this fly.
